As an upcoming second-largest commercial complex in Guangzhou, YUE CITY is a mega-mall transformed from a wholesale market with an enormous size of three million sqft. The design concept of Metamorphosis was introduced, a complete transformation that signals the rebirth of the development and rejuvenation of the community.

During my time at DYML, we had three brand-new projects coming in, under the generous and detailed mentoring of the senior principals, I was fortunate to participate in these projects every step along the way.

With a group of three senior associates, four architectural designers, and countless specialists and consultants, a high-intensity workload lasted for a whole year. The project contains both architecture and interior design, I was fully involved from the conceptual design to the design development phase. Collaborated closely with senior principals and teammates, my responsibilities included concept proposals, design development, model constructions, visual graphics, presentation packages, and technical bids. I also assisted in construction drawings, specialists and consultants’ coordination, and client meetings.
